Happy Father's Day
I would like to take the opportunity to let everyone know that Scott is a wonderful husband and a great dad to our children. I am so blessed and so are the kiddos. We love you Daddy!!
And to my dad and Scott's dad: we consider ourselves blessed to have been raised by Christian men and consider our children so blessed to have you as Papi and Papa.

And...
Oh - forgot to mention: Arielle is currently teething with an earache - she is not a happy camper right now. She weighs 17.5 pounds! And on his first day going pee in the potty.... Nathanael managed to go successfully twice (two accidents in between) while being prompted to try and then.... on his own three times - all the way up to bedtime!!! We are SOOOO proud and excited for him to be entering this new stage of "big boy-hood"!
Update on the kids...
Nathanael - just went PEE in the POTTY!!! We're so proud of our little guy! What finally worked? My "favorite" mother in law's advice: I got him a special (frog) potty and let him sit on it while watching his favorite show (Go Diego Go) so he could just relax and .... "go". I gave him a Dora and Diego puzzle for a special celebration for going pee for the first time in the potty. This is to show him that it is such a wonderful good thing that he went pee in the potty! Now let's see if we can get him to keep doing this and work towards no diapers!! Nathanael is a ball of energy and can be quite a handful sometimes but he is also helpful with the baby, learning to help clean up his toys, manners and sometimes he is even a cuddle bug who wants to sit in mommy and daddy's lap. We love our boy!
Arielle - She is such a sweet baby! She can sit up but not for long and she rolls all over the place and "scootches". She loves to put everything in her mouth and seems to be teething - but I still do not see any teeth. She eats pureed baby food two or three times a day (just a couple tablespoons) and still drinks a lot of mommy milk (she often can be seen signing "milk" in ASL and she says, "Mama!"). She also loves yogurt (yo baby) and she LOVES ice cream! She is a smiley sweet girl. We love our girl!
