Praise God!! We got our I17h form from USCIS today!!! This means we are approved by US immigration to adopt internationally! This form is often referred to in the adoption world as the "golden ticket". Whoo-hoo!!! We did not expect for it to come so soon!! We will be getting it and the last half of our forms notarized tomorrow and over-nighted to Sacramento to be apostilled (state sealed) and my sweet auntie will overnight them back to us! We may have our completed dossier THIS WEEK!!! AAAAHHHH!!! (excitement!).
How exciting. I hope ours moves as fast. Can't wait for you to get to travel.

Once we got our paper with our appointment for fingerprints we called them to see if we could walk-in and they did not know. So dh just stopped by on his way to work and explained our situation and they told him they'd take him right then and that he should tell me to come later that afternoon when things were slower there - sooooo cool!!!
