Today we took Zeph to get his foot fitted and they sent it home with us! It was a longer appointment and the kids did their best to entertain themselves. Poor little Zeph was so tired from missing his nap. He was not cooperative so when I'd stand him up to see if his foot was level with the prosthesis he would try to throw himself back and cry. Thankfully they were still able to determine (with his stomping) that it was a good fit and they sent it home with us to try out on him! Yay! I was able to get a couple pictures of him (not throwing a fit) but he was mostly just "all done" by the time they were able to fit it on him. He wanted it off, wanted his "baba" and wanted to go home and eat. So we did :) The other kids did great - all four kids in one room. And the staff there at the orthopedics center - they are awesome. We are so blessed!
How is he doing with his new foot? Is he taking to it yet?
