Zephaniah's fitting today!

Here it is! The foot was tested, re-sized, tweaked, and all re-done at the appointment today. It is not finished yet - this is just the starting point, the "tester" if you will. We should see the finished product in a little over a week. So here's how it went:
Big brother Nathanael got to help put on Zeph's very first SHOE... that FITS!!! I could just leap for joy at this alone, as a mama who looked high and low for a shoe to fit his little foot but found nothing, not even one single slipper that could fit on his foot. So this is just great!

Then once it was a litter more down to size they had him stand up and then placed a board (for measurement) under him... he was not happy about all that.

Then they took a break to tweak it once more and came back and he got to stand on BOTH his feet. At first he was liking it - but when he realized it was more weight and didn't just move like his natural leg/foot then he was upset. It's going to take some getting used to but we really think once he figures out what he CAN do in it - we think he will be so happy. He wants to walk so badly!

Some more fine-tuning measurements (above).

(above) - what it looked like with us all in there - only I'm holding the camera and Arielle was running around singing songs she was making up.
